The API follows major version v1 and the SDKs use aligned SemVer (1.x ↔ v1). Backward-compatible changes (new operations, fields and events) ship without a major version bump; see Versioning and deprecations.

API Gateway #

2026-10-27 — Six new modules (contract with 115 operations) #

The published contract grows from 17 to 115 operations (102 paths):

  • Operational wallet: balance, transactions, P2P, Bre-B, bills and top-ups, added to accounts and pockets, cards and FX. New event wallets.topup.completed.
  • Loan portfolio (loans): the affiliate’s loans, installment schedule, breakdown, payments, collections, extra principal payments, full payoff and certificate. Events payment.received, payment.applied, installment.overdue, loan.paid_off.
  • PQRS for the CRM or the call center. Events pqrs.created, pqrs.status_changed, pqrs.responded.
  • Health services for healthcare providers (IPS): scheduling and appointments, health billing (DIAN, RIPS, claim objections, payer collection) and vaccination card. Events appointment.* and health_billing.payment.registered.
  • Administrative / ERP: human resources, payroll, accounting and treasury. Events admin.*.
  • Self-managed webhooks through the API: event catalog, endpoints, secret rotation, test events, delivery history and redeliveries.
  • The catalog of subscribable events reaches 52.

2026-07 — Wallet (accounts, cards, FX) and sandbox #

  • Accounts and pockets, card issuance and status, currency quotes and conversion.
  • Sandbox surface: test clocks and lifecycle simulators.
  • wallets.* events (top-ups, transfers, disbursements to the wallet, withdrawals, payments, disputes, cards).

2026-06 — First release (v1) #

  • Affiliates (cross-check, file upload, lookup), loans (submit, queue, detail, decision, disbursement), subsidies and monetary allowance, transaction status and gateway health.
  • Authentication with X-API-Key, idempotency, rate limits, RFC 9457 errors.
  • Loan, subsidy, monetary allowance and affiliate events, plus the classic loan lifecycle.

SDK #

1.1.0 — 2026-11-02 (all five SDKs) #

  • Python (compense-sdk-python): from 17 to 115 operations; wallet, loans, pqrs, health, admin and webhooks modules; dev environment; OffsetPage, Resolution, WebhookEndpoint; webhook verification with multiple secrets, tolerance=None, is_test and an EVENT_TYPES catalog of 52 events; expanded CLI. Fixed: the sandbox environment now points to https://sandbox.dev.compense.co/gw; FX sends sell_currency/buy_currency; wallet enumerations in lowercase; clocks send delta_seconds. Deprecated: sandbox.trigger_webhook, simulate.wallet_transfer_advance/credit_disburse_advance, test_clocks.create(name=), advance(by_seconds=) and from_currency/to_currency.
  • JavaScript / TypeScript (@compense/sdk): first release, with the full surface on top of native fetch, zero dependencies, ESM + CommonJS, async pagination, webhook verification with node:crypto and Web Crypto, and a CLI.
  • PHP (compense/sdk): first release, on top of any PSR-18 client, PHP 8.1+, with examples for Laravel.
  • .NET (Compense.Sdk): first release for net8.0 and netstandard2.0, AddCompense with IHttpClientFactory, auto-pagination with IAsyncEnumerable.
  • Go: first release, standard library only, functional options, iterators and the webhook subpackage with Handler.

All of them share the same pinned contract (gateway develop 9cf78da) and parity tests in both directions. The JS, PHP, .NET and Go SDKs start at 1.1.0 to align with the Python one.

1.0.0 — 2026-07 (Python) #

First release of the Python SDK: affiliates, loans, subsidies, monetary allowance, transactions, system, accounts/cards/FX, sandbox helpers and the compense CLI; typed errors, idempotency, retries, deprecation warnings and webhook verification.

Documentation #

2026-11 — New developer site #

Site rebuilt with no theme dependencies: implementation guides per module with code tabs for all five SDKs and cURL, API reference generated from the contract, webhooks, sandbox, recipes, in-browser search and light/dark mode.
